Anderson County Hospital has just completed our first ten year relationship with DWC and we wholeheartedly endorse it continuing for at least another ten years. We have been very fortunate and our experience has been extremely positive.
ACH initially started with weekend ED coverage – our medical staff covered the ED during the week days. Our first ED provider was Sarah Wilkinson, PA. She provided excellent service and became part of our hospital family. DWC threw a retirement celebration at ACH for Sarah. Many of the staff at DWC made the trip to Garnett to share in the celebration. This really speaks to a positive culture of recognizing good service and loyalty to employees and partners.
DWC has always responded to requests, complaints and concerns in a positive and constructive manner. DWC have made sure to “fit” the providers to ACH’s needs and culture. Our relationship has evolved over the years into a full 24/7 ED coverage with interim coverage in our rural health clinic in times of short physician staffing. DWC put together a 24/7 ED coverage team in record time to cover full time ED services when one of our full time physicians became ill and required long term treatment for cancer.
DWC staff is always immediately available to address a variety of questions. Debbie, early on, and now Rodlyn for the last several years are just terrific. Gary Coulter also makes regular visits to our facility and we try to meet periodically for lunch on a nice day when travel is possible on the back of a motorcycle. Dr Morsch and Dr. Wardlaw have worked on site which further enhances our relationship with DWC. The rest of the office personnel are fabulous starting with Rosa in initially answering the phone. Thanks!!
This is all to say that our relationship with DWC has evolved and continues to do so as we evolve. DWC has been a strong and long term partner for ACH and we have seen the relationship become stronger over the years and no doubt will continue to strengthen into the future. Simply stated, ACH shares the positive culture that DWC demonstrates as our partner in delivering the finest healthcare possible to our patients. Thank You.
